Kaizen Excellence Center gave a 5 days kaizen tot training for Ghana civil service training center (July 29-August 2/2024) in Ghana Accra. The training mainly covers Basic Kaizen (kaizen overview, “Muda identification and elimination”, 5 “S”, Office kaizen and QCC) and intermediate kaizen (QC Story and 7 QC tools, New 7 Qc tools). Three consultants from KEC delivered the training namely Abel H/Michael (comprehensive kaizen project coordinator), Filmon Tefera (Lead Executive, Manufacturing Industry Sector), Helen G.Mariam (Desk Head, Leather and Leather Products Industry Desk). The training was given for 31 candidates in witch seventeen of them are from Ghana civil service training center and the remaining higher officials from different governmental organizations ( Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources…). The training was conducted inside Ghana CSTC building. The training materials were customized based on the context and needs of the Ghana CSTC. most part of the training is done through practical exercises and Game based trainings.
At the end of the training session, trainees received Certificate of participation and KEC team was acknowledged with a souvenir traditional clothes of Ghana.
The team has successfully completed the training meeting the Ghanian clients expectation (the training meets 90% of trainees expectations).
with the help of Mr. Sylvester Bayowo facilitation, KEC experts beyond the training were able to make a discussion with JICA-Ghana head MS.suzuki. KEC experts were able to arrange future cooperative trainings between KEC and JICA Ghana office in service and manufacturing sectors.
